it's all taken way out of proportion, it's just because the electric cars are "new" that every time something happens, they report on it. In proportion to gas cars, electric cars are way more reliable. (can't speak for the scooters)
Show some pictures in the end! I would be interested in it for when I go traveling with the misses that likes to bring her stuff :D
I'm not a lot of help, but I would say plastic washer outside not to damage the paint more and get a better weather seal. there are no instructions?
Maybe he should drop the bike a bit lower in the back, so it feels like you are always going up in the mountains.
Not my thing either, but happy with more and more custom work.
I don't know which app you use to listen to the music, but sometimes they have a separate volume control where you can turn the music itself down compared to the volume setting in the phone to balance it out.
You don't have salt to melt the snow, but you do have a sea near you?
Whenever I take my bike along the coast I have to wash it the same day to prevent any type of corrosion
I wonder if this could be installed, maybe fitted in the phone charging space (and somehow connected to the wonderwheel):

I have not heard of anything like that, but if you are looking to do it with a switch, the electrical diagram is fairly easy:
Pretty sure you'll be able to find a set with a led light/strip + switch + fuse + wiring.
I would prefer to buy a second hand bike that's in order than one I have to service immediately when I buy it. That's how I have more trust the previous owner was good to the bike.
I don't care how he did it, I don't look at the price of the bike with that included, or think I should pay more...
I guess that would depend on the country/state you are from. but here in Belgium/Europe that would definitely be covered under warranty, including any labor.
I'm not electronically inclined, so I would just use a can bus system (Denali works with our bikes I think, I'm hoping hex releases one for our bikes soon)
Welcome! Enjoy the ride, I have been on this forum for 3 months and havent gotten the bike yet! :D (delivery delayed until beginning of October)
And enjoy all the information as well, helps with the planning what I will do with it once I do have it.
Seems best for everyone to keep the money, there are definitely enough people out there that don't care that much or are planning on changing half the stuff on the bike anyway. for them it's a steal, and you are left with more money than planned.
You can view the waiting time as a positive. By the time you have them, you have money again for a next upgrade, so there is no time without the anticipation of improving/changing the bike.
