I had an issue with my 2018 K1600B going into “Limp Mode” - which sounds similar to what’s described above. Riding along minding my own business when the bike lost all throttle response. I was told the bike does this when the bike‘s computer loses connectivity to the sensor that controls the...
I tried a JuRock 18” windshield as well. Their customer service said it was a similar height to the short stock BMW windshield. However, it actually stood a few inches higher then the stock one. This meant that my line of sight was straight thru the top edge of the JuRock screen - which I did...
I had an Adaptiv Technology mount from my K1600B that I was able to repurpose on my R18B. It fit nicely on the handlebars. Guess it depends on the type of mount you have.
I bought a pair of bars from Baione from Amazon as well and promptly returned them once I received the shipment. The condition of the box and the (damaged) contents made me a little leery of the vendor.
I bought a chrome set from a vendor in China off of eBay on June 26th at a cost of approx $350 CDN. Delivery was suppose to take 20 - 30 days. 30 days later - no delivery or updated tracking info. After contacting the vendor, they said there was a problem with the freight forwarder who in...

Thank you so much for your thoughts and all the links. You certainly went above and beyond. I share your opinion regarding the looks with the smaller screen. Thanks again. Enjoy your bike and ride safe.
Boots - I like the them. This is my third season and I find them very comfortable. They are waterproof, but I could see how some may find them a bit hot. They’ve also held up as I use them exclusively. Negative - like most things BMW - they are not cheap !! But maybe you get what you pay...
Sorry, I should have attached a couple pictures of my own. Now that I look at the last picture showing my boot covering the pedal, I wonder if my issue is that I have to press the front of my foot far down to feel like the brake is helping me stop. I wonder if it can be adjusted upwards a bit...
Do you happen to have a picture of the original brake lever (pedal) ? I have a Bagger and the pedal seems to be further under the cylinder head making my size 13 boot hard to find at times. I too wonder if you’ve got the answer to that !
