Been seeing photos of what appears to be bikes with stock BMW bobber kits popping up on Facebook. What’s the deal? Are all the parts (seat, hardware, rear fender, license plate bracket, turn signals, wire harness) now available from US dealers?

Nice BMW combo: R18 and a Z8. Hopefully, the R18 will follow a similar course…. Initially not very well received, and now some are going for over $200,000.

Very nice. Good to hear that the parts actually exist (unlike the OEM parts). How was the install? Was the brake light and turn indicator harness “plug and play” with the stock connectors? How does the FOB antenna mount?

Hattech makes a complete exhaust (from manifold back) that is much more clean aesthetically (eliminating that unsightly kink), however, it’s quite spendy. There is one guy on this forum with that setup.

Thanks. Definitely looks like there’s a muffler in there (certainly looked like straight pipes from the side). I imagine the db killer is similar to what is in mine (very easy to remove) but really really loud when out (in a good way).
