Bike looks great without a backrest, but I think it looks good, if you have to have a backrest. This being such a torquey beast I think the wife will feel more secure with some support.

From the “bikeexif” site, for those who want more pics. I like the paint. Rear cowl is nice, if impractical. I guess you wouldn’t ride this in the rain anyway. It’s got blinkers, mirrors, why not a front fender? I think that would finish it off nicely.

These bikes are gorgeous in a classic, timeless way. I don’t get why the prices are tanking atm. Such a nice alternative to the Harleys and Indians, which are great in their own ways.

What steering issues did you have? I notice my ‘25 Roctane has a steering damper on it. Mine seems fine.

Thanks for pointing these out. They look nice. I pulled the trigger on the black ones with the simple R18 roundel. Should suit my Roctane.

Not sure how they’d look on the bike though.
