170.8 miles from a tank R 18 Classic

Yesterday I rode 170.8 miles on a tank.
I rode 14 miles of the indicated reserve and upon refill the bike took 3.4 gallons.
Temperature was 80º to 87ª and speed was highway speeds ranging from 70 to 85 mph

That’s impressive. On my Classic the reserve warning comes on at around 140 & I usually fill up within 10m of that happening. I never take much notice of how much I put in the tank but I reckon I’m getting about 50mpg on a long run cruising at 70-75 mph.
Still can’t help thinking that for a bike costing over 20k new it should have a fuel gauge!

Nice! I got 160 miles from my 100 yrs last fill up, commuting to work over a week or so
