Aftermarket Footpegs

Hello All,

I was just curious if anyone has had any luck fitting aftermarket footpegs on their R18 First Edition/Standard.

I am wondering if footpegs with a standard male mount would work. If so, when installing, did you have to remove the spring from the footpeg assembly to make it work?

I purchased these:

with the Vario adapter bits. I was looking for adjustability for my big feet. They work quite well and were very easy to install. I don't remember them being this expensive though.

Are you able to adjust them in all directions or only down? I am more looking for ground clearance more than anything. Thanks!
