Hi has anyone fitted Wunderlich 25mm bar risers to their R18 Classic ? would like opinions on whether they do what they state . ie 25mm higher but do they bring them back to the rider ? any comments are most appreciated .

Funny - I've just ordered them ..... With how they fit they should bring the bars back

I was in the same situation so bought a set from Amazon for a fraction of the Wunderlich to experiment. Yes it brings the bars back nicely, less of a reach. Of course, my next mod is black beach bars, so they won't be needed.

Risers for Harley Davidson will fit the R18. Much larger variety at reasonable prices.
I bought a set of 25's and a set of 50's, installed each for a week to see what I preffered. I found the 50's worked well at city speeds but the 25's were better at 50mph and above.... I settled on the 25's as the best compromise (they also look better.... or less ugly then the 50's).... the 25s gave me a little bit of forward lean that worked better at speed..... the 50's made me feel like a parachute... 70% of my riding is >50mph.
I then purchased +30mm brake and clutch line so the joiner block on each side could be remounted in the stock position. Both the 25 and 50 were polished alloy (dk's 50mm are stainless) cheapies.... but are good quality.... you don't really notice the 25s.

I was thinking of getting new handle bars or risers once I determined what set back etc would work for me... but ended up happy with the 25s (at least for now).
