Best Mod reminder

R18 Anniversary Edition
Just a reminder to all the R18 brethren out there who are dissatisfied with the wind turbulence at highway speeds.
When I added the lower deflectors from Memphis Shades to my R18, I could not believe the drastic improvement. ZERO updraft now for a very balmy ride at 75 mph.
These lowers were added after I installed the 7Jurock 18" windshield. Lucky for me, I ordered the Jurock with light gray tint not knowing the Memphis Shades lowers were also light gray tint by default. Great optics and even a greater ride!

The improvement is so stunning I have a new appreciation for the ride on this bike.

Are you certain on the bracket part number .. I searched their site and ir came up with 0 results ... I could find the deflectors but not the bracket

Could we get more pics? Looks good from what I'm seeing so far and selfishly I'm wondering if I'd like the look of a screen on mine.
 
Thanks for correcting the part number .. I am going to see if they have that bracket in black as well .. and if not see if I can get it powder coated ;)
 
It is interesting how two rectangular panels on either side of the forks can have a profound impact on wind currents and turbulence.
Before the lowers were added, there was so much updraft that the flip-up face on my 3/4 helmet would not stay down.
After the lowers were added, there isn’t any updraft.
