Hi,

My R18 FE came with the Bridgestone Battlecruise and both front B19 and rear B16 are Bias-belted (“B”) type tyres. Yet when I added the bike details on Michelin's website, it came up with the Commander 3 in Radial type 19R for the front and Belted B16 for the rear?

I thought it wasn't recommended to mix the tyre types unless Michelin does not produce a B19 version for the front?

Motorcycle radial tires are quite different than automotive radial tires. I have seen many different bikes that call for a radial front and a bias belt rear. Usually on heavier touring tires with more ridgid sidewalls.
