I've noticed the R18TC seems to be more at ease with higher rpm as the miles accumulate. Last evening I ran it 75 mph for an extended time on the interstate highway and was pleased at the calm ride. When new, the bike massaged my feet beginning at about 72 mph.

Yea, I feel the same. I know nowadays ‘running in’ seems to be an old fashioned out of date thing but I have been doing it nevertheless and I think the bike feels a bit free-err and happier with even a few hundred miles on it. Prior to purchase I read some comments about vibrations being really bad but I don’t know what they were on about TBH. Maybe if you thrash it to death but why would you even want to? I don’t want an electric feeling bike.

All things considered, my R18B is both gorgeous and a great ride. (Exception noted for the slight high RPM vibe due to lack of counterbalancer.)
