No experience with the dk bit, but did lift my Homage seat 25mm or there abouts. Really worked for me. I used some bits that give the seat some "spring".

I saw your mod and ma thinking to go the same route. The skateboard dampeners were a great idea. Do you find having some give in the seat reduces vibrations or increases comfort?
 
I have the DK bracket. Has adjustments on height and forward/back. I was very satisfied with it.

Nice. Good to know it has forward and backward movement as well. Does it mount directly to the Hommage seat or does it require the OEM Hommage bracket as well?

The seat has about 1" of more give in it in the rear half..... when you sit on it you use about 1/2 of this (I guess you would call it "rider seat sag")..... so this works with the suspension for bigger bumps. It does help a bit, but the homage seat is mostly for looks and seating position optimisation, comfort from it comes mostly from the rider triangle optimisation, not seat comfort as such.... it's a bit like a dining/bar chair.... not a sofa.

On my bike it makes me feel like I am riding a vintage bike.

Understood. I like your idea for additional gel and the lambswool for added comfort. I love the Hommage seat for its looks but I’ll definitely need to modify it to be a better long distance seat.
 
Very interested in this. Did anybody do any write ups or installation stuff on it? I have the seat, but like the idea of being able to move it around a little bit. Anybody buy one and have it for sale?
