Gas cap replacement

The gas cap on my R18 is difficult to remove as it is recessed too low into the tank. I can't get a grip on it without pressing into the black paint surrounding the circular cap. Besides this, I can do dumbbell curls with it given its heft.

Anyone know of a lighter substitute that is easier to get a grip on?

I recently replaced the gas Cap on the FE with a milled RSD cap, which looks spectacular..

There's one on eBay now for $208;.it's the Black with Polished Aluminum. Also, there is a Two Tone Black cap also on eBay (same price).

I searched "BMW R18 Roland Sands Design" and it showed right up...

Fits 2021-2022 R18 and R18 Classic Models. Top is swapped over onto the factory gas cap by swaping the snap ring on the underside.

I may have hit a snag. eBay specifically claims the RSD gas cap does not fit the 2023 anniversary R18. Hmm

Look over the installation instructions for swapping the locking gas cap, for the RSD cap... If it doesn't fit, I don't think you'll have a hard time selling it..
