Getting my ride hauled .

My R1800B is being put into a Haul bikes truck and is being delivered to me . Harley had a way to put the alarm system into transport mode so the battery won’t drain during transport. Does my new ride have the same ? And how would you put it into transport mode?

I had an R18 Transcontinental trucked to my place. Can't remember the driver doing anything to "undo" a hidden "transport" mode. My current R18 does not flash uncontrollably like the Harley Fatboy.

Have the classic. I assume the B DWA is similar

To deactivate the movement sensor (for example if you are about to transport the motorcycle on a train and the swaying movement of the moving train could trip the alarm signal), press button 1 on the radio-operated key during the activation phase. Turn indicators are illuminated three times. Movement sensor is deactivated.

Not sure regarding battery drain. I think alarm has its own battery. It can be disabled completely if needed.

If you have the anti-theft alarm system installed there is a tilt sensor that can be deactivated in settings if transporting.
