I asked the folks at Heli-Bars if they planned on producing a chrome or stainless steel set of bars like the black ones that are currently out there. They said YES! I may have to pull the trigger on this.
I sat upright on my R1200C because the stock ape hanger bars came back to me. This laid back posture was perfect for my style of riding as I don't like to lean forward when riding a motorcycle.
With the R18TC there is just a slight tad lean forward with my 5'8" tall body. Not much but I can tell that the longer Heli-Bars will mark a return to R1200C posture riding!
