Hello forum, greetings from NC (a bit north of Charlotte). Bmw owner and prospective new owner of a BMW r18... I hope.
Been riding for 30+ years and 75+ bikes under my belt (built many a cafe racer before kids came along).
Here to learn about the r18 and be an informed buyer.

Yep +1. Take any negativity towards the bike (from early YouTube and journo reviews) with a pinch of salt. The bikes are awesome at what they are designed for and the motor/gearbox is an absolute peach, IMHO. If you want or need more long distance comfort or tech then the B or TC models are worth checking out.
