Hello from UK

Hi,
I seen the bike for sale so ended up buying it.
However I had no license so have to sort my license before collecting the bike. 😂
I bought a new first addition bobber done by BMW themselves in BMW Individual Purple. I think it’s absolutely stunning. The photos just don’t do it justice.

Hello Leigh, stunning. If this is your first bike then you really are jumping in the deep end, however, if you needed an incentive to get yourself onto two wheels I see why that would do it. Congratulations.

In 2014 there was a waiting list for the R9T here in LA. My name came up after a few months, but I wasn't ready, outta $$ at the time. Went to see the bike anyway, they didn't want to even let me ride it....
But they finally agreed. The bike was VERY uncomfortable because I was a Harley rider. You had to sit like a cricket on the damn thing!!! But, the bike was so beautiful I bought it anyway....financed the whole thing. It was too beautiful to pass on....
So....I think many on this site "get it"...

Bravo!!!

Welcome to the forum and congratulations. She is a stunner and very unique. One hell of a first bike but hey, why not. One of my mates bought a Rocket III a few years back as his first bike and went touring to mainland Europe a few months later.
