Is limited lean angle posing a safety risk?

I've scraped way more on lowered wunderlich floorboards on my k1600 then I ever did on this R18 Bagger... when it is not at the dealership lol

As always to each their own. I have been asked before if I can scrape the floorboards. My response has always been the following: “yes I can scrape the floorboards. Every time I have done so it has been a reminder to slow to heck down. If I am regularly scraping floorboards I am on the wrong bike.” Good used bikes are fairly “inexpensive” where I live. If I regularly feel the need to take corners at well above the posted speed limit I ride a different bike. Just because an R18 can scrape pegs/boards doesn’t mean that it should be doing so on a regular basis. If you choose the proper tool for the job it sure makes things a lot less hectic. Personally I prefer riding my motorcycle of choice within the confines of its intended purpose/design. I am fortunate in having more than one two wheeled tool.
