Lowering the brake pedal

Found this way to lower the brake pedal on a 18B . Acts like stop but you will need to adjust the master cylinder push rod yoke . So far so good . Now I’m Able to just move my foot forward or even lightly rest it on the foot pad .

How about a piece of black rubber hose to cover the threads, saves the chrome on the lever and moves it down just a little more ... and cushions the pull back ... Just a thought

Yeah I thought about that . I might go has far has getting something custom built to match the rest of the bike if this works out . So far I’m really liking not having to raise my foot and point it in .

I’m going to install something to cover the threads . Possibly go to a Hex headed bolt . Pics to follow .

Love it! And I totally agree with the 'sucks having to raise the foot thing' in my case, when my foot is in a comfortable position, the break lever peg rubs on the side of my boot. You have inspired me ... Now I have to do something about that!

Any chance, does the new lower position activate the Brake Light..? Probably worth checking..

That hopefully will be activated via a pressure switch, in that case it wouldn't matter where the lever is as long as enough brake pressure is sensed
