I can testify that the "weekender" seat is quite good. I have ridden 185 miles (one way) many times to OKC and was not saddle sore at all.

Indeed, I've done a couple of all day rides and it was definitely a upgrade from the stock seat! I've simply decided that my K1200GT is a better touring bike. I want to upgrade to the new R1300RT so the R18 has to go.

For a long time I have been ogling the R1250RT. The R1300RT looks more angular but this weekend I’m planning to actually ride one.

I feel like it's finally a worthy successor to the K1200/K1300 GT. I'm sure you will love it! A billion technology features....but I digress.

My seat has a tag that says Mustang on it but the seat looks different from yours. Suppose it is a different version?
