Never Notice That!

There are 3 main bearings on the crankshaft causing the offset. On the R1200C there were two main bearings i.e. none between the connecting rods so the offset was less. High rpm's on the R1200C did not introduce vibration.
 
As I posted previously this summer, as this is my first airhead and boxer twin, I became aware of the jug offset because my right foot was a touch warmer than the left when I was riding one day. I felt slightly dopey about that, but hey, gotta learn something every day or you are not paying attention ;):giggle:
It is still the most beautiful motorbike I have ever ridden or owned.
