Howdy howdy
I’ve started hauling my camping gear around on my bagger and I get a bit worried about potentially rubbing the paint off with my swag. So I started looking at these

Has anyone done this? Any advice, cautions, regrets?

I am thinking of getting that also actually but I still like the idea of protecting my painniers from the top for rubbing damage or the occasional boot over bike collision

Simple. Go to a wrap store and put on a sheet of clear. Simple cheap and replaceable any time. Big upside is your bike still looks nice when the bag is off.

Honestly I think that might be the way to go. I’m liking the invasive installation of those racks less and less.

You have to be careful about weight distribution otherwise the handlebar starts vibrating once you remove hands away.

Doesn't the Model B and the TC have an adaptive Rear Shock that compensates for the weight changes?

sure for TC but B not sure.

The B and T/C are the same bikes, minus a couple of attributes for managing the wind and comfort features for the pillion.
