Removal of plastic inside top case Transcontinental?

Has anyone taken their top case apart? I need to figure out how to separate the plastic from the casing to get to the lock actuator of the top case, it's not working and needs to be replaced. There are a ton of small screws that I've removed, but now I'm down to the larger screws that would remove the whole box from the bike which I doubt I need to do. The plastic does not seem to be separating from the case itself.

I ended up removing the whole box with the four large bolts underneath. There were 6 small screws under the box that were hard to reach and possibly impossible to reach without removing the box. Ordered the lock actuator, hoping that is indeed the reason my latch isn't working--it's a much cheaper part than the $500 lock assembly *fingers crossed
