RSD wheel chrome flaking

Anyone else got these rims and found the chrome is just peeling off?

Requesting warranty but have been warned chrome and finishes are likely not covered. $8000 set of effing wheels and falling apart after a year? (Bike only has 1400kms on it)

Where do you live such that :

- There is that kind of corrosion
- they cost $8000.

Maybe some pics a bit less zoomed in could be helpful.

Front wheel is fine so it’s not to do with environment, looks like it’s to do with s*** chrome prep, it’s in all of the small books and crannys and Australia, these are $8kAUD, about $5.5kUS

You should get a new wheel. Warranty or not, this is totally unacceptable.

Chrome peeling on handlebar after BMW fished a wire through for my additional lights...
Warranty applied for and granted ..new bars come in 5 weeks or so meanwhile they epoxied it down to avoid spreading.

Also the left hand grip rubber slips when wet.. New one of those under warranty too..
