Got out this afternoon w/ my stepson who is a new rider. This was his inaugural ride outside of our neighborhood where we have been practicing low speed maneuvers, turns and U turns (which he can do better than some "experienced" riders I've been around).
And yes, my fiance has been fully supportive, worried, but fully supportive.
His proper gear was aquired before he ever got on the bike or obtained his M/C permit. He has a 2 day rider course this weekend he signed up (and paid for) which here in AZ will get him his M/C endorsement upon completion.
This picture is pretty cool in the fact he is usually pretty "dry". To see excitement and passion come out, especially when we were "talking bikes" at this stop was awesome.
Nothing but good to say about the Ninja 400.
I'm putting more time on the R-18 than I originally figured.
And days like this is why desert rats like me endure months of 24 / 7 furnace heat here in AZ.
Tomorrow is looking to be wet...
