Vance & Hines swap to Fishtail

2023 R18 Classic, 1200 Miles of Glory

So, my R18 Classic came with a Vance & Hines pipe that’s got a bulldog growl. Love it!

But, like a kid eyeing a shinier toy, I’m now obsessed with those fancy fishtail pipes.

In a moment of pure impulse—because who needs research when you’ve got Wi-Fi and a credit card?—I snagged a “like new” pair off eBay for a cool $300, shipping included.

Now, Will these fishtails even fit my bike?

And if they do fit, how the heck do I get them on.

Do you have the cast iron rear pipe supports? I would assume it should be the same with all the exhaust pipes, but maybe not.

Your saddle bags / panniers from the 'Classic' will not fit anymore with the FE/Pure fishtails ... sorry to burst your bubble

I have taken out the bags and stored them.
I want a new look. I will go back to original R18 C next year!

You need the muffler mounting brackets and you’ll be good to go.
The fishtails make the R18.
