This doesn't have a lot of views but the guys at Helibars did a quick video showing how much stuff is mounted up top. Thought others might like to see behind the curtain:
 
I too have the R18TC and feel that I reach just a tad to get to the bars. I am 5'8" and still happy with the stock bars, but if they were a tad closer to me, I would of course like that.
