Watsonian sidecar wheel spokes.

BMW R 18, 1963 Cushman Silver Eagle
I had to avoid a stop sign runner and bumped the curb with the sidecar. Broken spoke resulted. Watsonian folks won't sell me a spoke. Only a set of forty for over $200. Have any of you had to replace a spoke? Do I have to replace all of them? Do I have to remove a lot/ many of the spokes to get a new one in? Totally relace the wheel? Thanks!!
