I bought mine at a (somewhat) local store called "Cycle Gear" they show 2 locations in Kansas on their website.
The Brookfield Wi store had a good selection of gear, and they installed my Cardo unit in the helmet I bought while I waited.

I prefer CycleGear, the local shop is really nice. Also you can order online and pickup / try at the store.

I purchased one last year at Cycle Gear. Find a place that has a large selection so you can try them on and have a good fit. My local BMW dealer also had a large selection. Some helmet manufacturers like Arai, have price control so the prices are the same no matter where you get them.
