Windshield mount missing part

Hi all, I removed my windshield and mount to try it windshield free. On the front lower part I took off the 2 movable hook-like pieces ( for lack of the correct name) by removing the clips and pin-like pieces it held. I did not realize that I didn't need to do that. Anyway a bit later I put the shield back on. I now believe i bent the clip so it was not securely on.
So sometime when riding the right hook like piece, clip and pin have a new home ! ugh! I went to purchase the part at my dealer and of all the separate parts that make up the shield and mount, that part you can't buy separate. So I'd have to but the whole thing. :/ So am asking does any know where I could possibly pick up this part. A long shot I guess , but worth asking. It's the right hook-like part,pin and clip. Thanks.

I have the same problem. Somewhere along the line, one of the retaining levers broke. $350 for the replacement windshield holder assembly. I have a second windshield. My first classic was totaled in a hit and run. Insurance took the bike but I have the windshield. If I remember I can check and see if that piece is still on it undamaged.
