Closer reach handle bars

Hi,

I am 172cm tall (5'8) , and I find the stock handlebars on my classic a bit too far away.
Not being a fan of beachbars, I am looking for either new handlebars that would bring a closer reach by at least 5 cm, or risers that would make it.
Any idea / experience on products that would fit my need ?

I installed the DK Design handlebar risers, which did the trick for me.

I just ordered them, no need to get new/longer brake or clutch lines and all that extra work that installation implies, just re-attach them to the motorcycle with the extension brackets provided. That’s what I was told. Other than security concerns (who wants to discover your handlebars are lose during a ride) I agree they could help improve ergonomics to some of us.

I have never understood the desire for 'beach" bars or "drag" bars. Back in '05 I had a Honda VTX with drag bars. I learned how painful the back of the shoulders become after leaning forward for an hours ride. Not enjoyable at all.
I would take pull back bars any day to drag bars, but to each his own.

Rode my Roadliner with beach bars for 11 years. Most comfortable I’ve ever been on a bike.

Odd, these are lbigger than the Wunderlich ones, but Wunder say you need to install new brake and clutch lines?

I bought the same on EBay. These arrived very quickly and appear to be of a very good quality. No instructions but not rocket science provided fitted and torqued correctly. The seller was very helpful and polite. Postage was quick and the price considerably better than the competition.

Have you had chance yet to test it on a ride of a few hours. ?

Hi there, I bought that set but not installing it because I ordered the more expensive from BMW (in back order til December aprox) so if anyone wants this set I can sell it to whoever wants it. Reduced price just drop me a PM 👌
