The deflectors on the TC have a noticeable helpful effect on reducing wind currents to the upper body. They aren't large but apparently are located in just the right place.
Do you know if they are compatible with the R18 FE?

Clive, thank you for the recommendation, purchased what you recommended and it made the riding experience so much better.

When you scroll down, choose the drop down window, and lowers are a option. They are quick detach and work fantastic along with the windshield.

Whoa! Memphis shade clear out the buffering almost 90% of it! Paint the mounting bracket in black to make it blend in with the bike forks. Awesome result, now I can ride farther without buffering headache! Thanks guys you are great and ride safe!

Did you use a generic black or try to color match the forks?

I mounted mine a little lower and actually like the non painted natural aluminum although the painted is nice as well.

Yes, originally I had it like the way you have done, after the paint applied I gave another thought of higher mount just above the lower triple tree that gave me more air flows to the boxer engine part... but all good!

Yeah,I get that.I kinda figured the spot lamps helped deflect air so thats why I ended up mounting mine a bit lower. The 100+ temps here in Arizona does not cause the engine to run hotter where I have em.The lowers do seem to push air down towards the heads.I agree, all good.

btw, what do you think of the curved prototype LRS?
