What did you do to your R18 today?

Installed Roland Sands mirrors that I had ordered in December.
Roland Sands turns out nice quality parts, I would love to see a picture of these same mirrors on a FE Model B. I thought about getting the exact mirrors; they look like they would sit a little lower behind the height of the Model B fairing and add additional field of view? I'm not a 100% sure on moving away from the OEM stock chrome look, to the Black/Machined look; however, I was thinking the Black with the Machined lines would compliment the Black Batwing fairing with the FE White Pin Stripes.

Once you start with the RSD accessories it’s hard to find where to stop.
All of the RSD stuff is very nice bike jewelry.

Finally after more than 10K miles I equipped my R18 Classic FE bought in Feb 2021 with all accessories and replacements I needed with most of the infos through this forum:

1. Windshield: Changed to a larger windshield from clearviewshields.com
2. Front fender: DKdesign-global.com
3. Oilcooler: Hornig
4. Crash bar: Formerly DKdesign, but replaced it with roadstyler.com because DKdesign is a faulty design and caused an accident.
5. Horn: Replaced wimpy horn with a Clayton horn
6. Seat: Mustang Day rider
7. Foot pegs sozius: Motea
8. Luggage rack: Wunderlich

Totally happy with my moto and no issues :)
Very swee.
1. So you used the stock Classic windscreen mounts to install the replacement screen?
2. Interesting take on a front fender with that center line running down it
3. Oil cooler change??
6. Love the seat, I am to get a Weekender. Hoping I am making the right call doing that.
7. Wonder if I can change out my R18FE base front pegs with these?
8. Love the rack…I am afraid to go to their site then find out it cost around $800. :(

Installed BMW OEM Engine Guards + OEM Leg Rests. This is a very under-rated modification. Sun was not doing my wife's iPhone any favors. Sorry these are under-exposed.

Well, to begin, thank you for the post and photos.

Now the not so great, to me, news. This does not look as promising as I would have hoped. It appears the sole purpose is to have a place to lay the underside of your calf on then the underside of you ankle is resting it appears on the engine guard itself. Neither of which sound very comfortable though I haven’t tried one yet.
How does it feel to you when using it and doesn’t it feel a bit strange should above be true?

I haven't actually tried the leg rests, but I think I'd get them if they had a place to put your heel, so legs are not out straight, something to feel a bit more stable.

I’m pretty tall so maybe it’s different for shorter legged people. I have a 32” inseam and these were sneakers. I can get another photo with my riding gear on.

When I use my leg rests my heel actually rests on the engine case guards between the bracket for the leg rests

yeah, I don't feel like I'm in an operating room. Just that my legs are straight out and actually the angle takes weight off my knees so it's not uncomfortable at all. I think on my 1000 mile days, I'm going to love having this. Now if BMW could just make a back rest on the TC seat where that hole is, I'd be in heaven.

Clearwater lights were going to go on last night but they didn't send me a large enough mounting kit.
