My last BMW was an R69S in 1966 to 69. I bought it from the Soldier I was replacing in Wurtzburg W.Germany and rode it year round till Oct 1969. It was stolen the night before scheduled pick up for shipment home!!
I ran across a great deal on a "21 R18 First Edition in Las Vegas, NV. and couldn't resist.

Congrats.... I picked up the same as a second bike mostly because of it being a deal to good to miss out on.... and now just love it at any price!
