I’m thinking I’ll put the Wunderlich 11” ape hangers on. I miss the configuration of the R1200C that I rode for many years.Welcome to the forum, Congratulations & Enjoy... Good luck with it and stay safe out there while on the road..
Those models are super sweet looking out of the box, any upgrades and such on the horizon?
I have the same bike....and and trying like hell to just leave it alone. I removed the rear seat and footpegs, added the Roland Sands valve covers..plan to do the bren tune remap and swap out the air filter....and leave it alone....
It's kind of a classic as is....don't want to F with it....
I do understand your statement about preserving it even though I mentioned the Wunderlich apes. This bike is so iconic. Really glad to have the anniversary edition. I learned that BMW floorboards sit lower than the pegs, so in spite of the high expense, I took the plunge.I have the same bike....and and trying like hell to just leave it alone.
