Floorboards swapped to R18B flatpegs

Hello all here, I am a new owner also of 21 Classic. I don't care much for the floorboards either. These replacement pegs you guys are talking about, are the direct fit with no other pieces needed? I would also like the part number if available.

Here are the part numbers you can get online or from dealer: Left peg 46711599109 Right peg 46711599110 and return spring needed (qty 2) 46718392729. These are the flat style pegs.

I use the BMW flat footpegs on my 22 TC and the Wunderlich lowered footpegs on my 21 Classic and Pure.

The footpegs also allow me to get my feet closer in when stopped, at 5'7" it helps a lot on loose surfaces, especially on the TC.

I've found boots with a lower flat sole make the footpegs much more comfortable, as the boot sits flat in any position and makes moving foot around easier.

The boots I've found most comfortable and flexible are the Gaerne Oiled Balance, it's a trials boot, also are great on the GS.

The armor is limited but that contributes to them being flexible enough for cruising

I ordered the left and right pegs but the return springs are unavailable (unknown when they will ship) so I skipped the return springs. I see my floorboards already have a spring installed, can I just use the pre-existing spring or will it not work? I'm wondering if I'm going to have problems trying to install the new pegs without the springs.

My R18 B has the floorboards, which I really like in combination with the heel-toe shifter...

I traded the the standard pegs off of my First Edition project bike, with another forum member for their floorboards; we also traded the associated kickstands...

I answered my own question in regards to the return springs you need with the flat pegs to replace floorboards. The return springs for the floorboards are similar to the ones for the footpegs but the footpeg springs have an extra bend to fit into the peg differently. I got around this by screwing a 6-32 3/4" bolt into the footpeg spring-hole so it sticks out and the spring can rest on it and push down on it. Not perfect but seems to work very well. I can supply a picture if anyone wants to see.

I fitted the 20mm lower Wunderlich pegs, which works well being ever so slightly lower. I rotated the gear lever to suit and then discovered that the rear brake pedal height cannot be adjusted. Only its free play can adjust. I adjusted that liberally enough and contrived a black plastic spacer to drop the pedal end.
