Well, here's how you destroy the look of the R18 100 Years Edition.
Having ridden RT's then a Goldwing, I was used to a bit of storage.
Not real happy with the look, but it gives me the storage required
for a week long trip.
I also mounted an older Zumo 595 on the Wunderlich Device Holder/GPS Mount.
I love Givi cases. Looks great 1911. Thumbs up on the Givi and Zumo.

I took the whole front fairing apart AGAIN in order to take another run at activating the Auxiliary Light's wiring and activating the Auxiliary Light indicator on the TFT.

No Joy - I get 12 V when I first start the bike, and I get 12 V for 3 seconds once toggling the mode switch... I tried several configurations, tried actuating the Auxiliary Lights via the GS-911 (no Joy).

I was able to get the TFT indicator working, but now need to disable it...

I also installed the BLACK Model B windscreen that I picked used a while back..

Went for a ride, got caught in a shit ton of rain, so tried RAIN mode; throttle response lags by 10 mins...

Got BBQ with buddies..

Fitted some shorter pipes today. I like the clear view of the final drive.....

They look a lot like the ones shown on the concept when the R18 was first introduced ... or the ones on the coffee table book cover.
I wished BMW would have put them on with the 'First Edition' rather than the 'Fish Tails' that they did go with ... looks way better IMO
By the way .. nice Pritschenwagen background ;)
