I have not seen or heard anything about the availability of a catless header pipe for the R18 outside of a complete exhaust replacement.

No need for full replacement of exhaust system - cut with angle grinder and weld in new section of pipe. Cats live in here ( section removed on floor ) = catectomy.

I have noticed everything for the most part that is offered is stainless or black. I considered cutting the cats out but there's no going backwards, could be expensive if you needed to return to stock. I have been looking at the Madd exhaust site because I'm liking the looks of the brazed joints on the stainless. Seems ridiculous prices on many systems though.

I went to the Madd website to see their exhaust options. Am wondering how expensive it would be to chrome those pipes?

The Madd exhaust headers don't fit , not the flanges on the header ends. Madd exhaust doesn't understand the problem . Going on 2 months going back and forth emailing.

There is bugbike from Thailand that sells cat less headers but don’t recommend going that route.
I’m working with a local fabricator to make me a set. I’ll take pictures when once we get building.

I recommend doing the same if you’re looking to keep the stock cans.
