Question Plugging the hole

Hi, I have removed my pillion seat from my 2024 Classic and secured the riders seat with the chrome rear fixing, i'm now left with the original bolt hole on the rear mudguard. What has anyone used to cover the bolt hole ? thanks.

Hi Rufus, I have just found some chrome screw cap covers. you can use an M6 countersunk screw on the brass cup and then screw the cap cover onto the brass cup which is threaded on the outside. I'll post some pictures when I have completed the MOD, thanks for your in put. regards Wal.

I’m thinking of removing the pillion seat on my 100 year edition. So, I’d have the same hole to fill I’m assuming?

I took the back seat off my R18 100 anniversary and glad I did. That silvered paint finish matches the tank and is very pleasing to the eye.
If I remember right, the metal piece that holds the seat just slides up and holds the driver seat. Been a long while since I took the seat off.
