With the fishtail exhaust semi retired I was able to lower the heel shifter so it requires little lifting of the heel to use now.

Went for a longer ride on my windy local roads and the bike was amazing. So now happy with the bren tune with this exhaust. It's amazing how it will pull from just off idle in 4th gear.

Exhaust is perfect medium loud.... sounds nice even with earplugs in.... it's like I have been re-emasculated.....

I could definately feel the weight reduction from the exhaust removal, especially on turn in. Like most things it soon just becomes the new normal.

Oh... and ride lunch.... a pint of localish stout and a beef parma....

I've read numerous times that folks have lost the side panels while out riding; today, I used my fly fishing skillzz... and used fishing line to secure my panels in the event of one or both of them coming loose and popping off...

Hopefully it's something I don't have to rely on, but at least it's some peace of mind if I notice and can quickly pull over and correct the situation before too damage happens. The line is long enough I can rest the panel on the seat, but not so long that it will drag on the exhaust or ground..

The fender is wunderlich. The tail lights are the one recommended by them. Kellerman DF I think it’s a 3 in 1

You may have answered this question already, but who made the engine side plates? I don’t do Facebook so I couldn’t contact the guy there who does it.

Well, had a lovely ride out this afternoon, first really nice dry sunny day when the roads around me weren’t plastered in salt. Stopped at a cafe for a brew and sat outside with it. Bike near me. Had two separate conversations with (car driving) chaps who came over to speak to me about my bike. Both were very complimentary, they explained they no longer ride but have done in the past. The second guy was Dutch and he was reminiscing about old Boxers he had back in the day (R60 think he said). I know we don’t need validation but it is nice when complete strangers go out of their way to have a chat and they say such lovely things. Makes you feel a bit …….I dunno, proud maybe 🤷‍♂️

I mounted the Healtech Servo Eliminators. One switchable and one non-switchable. I do hear a difference at low speeds. However, I’m disappointed that they sell ”kits” with one switchable and one non-switchable eliminator. Considering buying another switchable to have both pipes switchable.
The installation was fool proof :)
