I mounted the Healtech Servo Eliminators. One switchable and one non-switchable. I do hear a difference at low speeds. However, I’m disappointed that they sell ”kits” with one switchable and one non-switchable eliminator. Considering buying another switchable to have both pipes switchable.
The installation was fool proof :)
What am I missing with a switchable servo eliminator vs a non switchable eliminator?

Don't we just want to remove the servo module all together, and fake the ECU into thinking everything is still installed so as not to trip an error...?

With switchable eliminators you get a "poor man's Jekyll & Hyde". With a button you can toggle between the valves working as usual, being completely closed or fully open.

Yes ... but then you still have these contraptions hanging around in front of your rear wheel and can't use a regular jack? ... what am I missing?
I just plugged in a couple 'Servo buddies' and ripped the damn things out. The noise level is hardly a difference but now I can use a regular jack.

I'm still not following....? The switchable modules get installed between the ECU and the Servo module; where it can actually actuate the exhaust valves..?

Yeah .. I am a bit confused as well ... seems like you can install these and then open and close the flaps yourself (one of them) whilst the module is pretending to the ECU that the ECU is controlling it ... or something like that ... not sure what the point is ... especially considering that it is only 1 of 2

Still confused: Simply removing the associated cabling and Servo module that physically OPENS or CLOSES the exhaust flap, allows the exhaust flap to default to the OPEN position via the spring on the cam wheel.

Then simply installing the ServoBuddy modules, tricks the ECU into thinking everything is good with controlling the Servo module, which is now removed entirely...

Changed the oil. Reset the service indicator using the GS-911 tool. Way simpler and more feature rich than the ODBLink thingy that I have but stopped working. The GS-911 pricier, but worth it in my opinion.
Well, so much for saving money by changing the oil myself. I evidently didn't properly seat the side cover after using the ODB port. It went walkabout, never to be seen again. Must have fallen off while riding. The replacement is over $500!

I recently use some 20 lbs. fishing line and secured a strap to each side cover, in the event that one loosenes up and falls...
 
The picture isn't the best or easiest to see, I highlighted the line with yellow dots; however, the Model B side cover has a standoff that has a hole in order to secure the fishing line.

My project bike has metal side covers, I may use a metal fishing line that is used for my toothy fish...

In the UK approximately £2.5K depending on size and complexity. It can go higher. I asked this question a little while ago to the same guy who wrapped my boat as he also does vehicles.

Picked up SharkRoad slip ons. Nicer matching chrome end caps are a couple days behind in the mail. Currently have the baffle tubes pulled...I may put them back in when the new caps arrive. May change the oil this weekend weather permitting. Should have the new tires on and the state inspection done within the next couple weeks.
