Warning code

Last time i got mine serviced the laptop was down and they could not reset the code, I asked if I could just ride it with the code, they said sure so I rode around for about 2000 miles with the wrench warn on and I eventually got time to get it to the shop and they reset it. Once the warranty is over I will be servicing mine myself and will be running with the code forever...LoL
 
So mine has suddenly come up with the 'Warning 1' with the wrench sign. Not sure if that's a service requirement or something else. Is there any way to find out or is it something only BMW can diagnose. Bit of a bore if the latter 🙄

Update: phoned BMW. Service light on and not due. Booked for software update at no cost.

One thing I just learned about the R18 is that service light pops up yearly or servicing mileage, whichever comes first. My light came on also but I knew I had not hit the mileage fro my next servicing, then it hit me that it had been a year since my last servicing. Mine is in the shop now for reverse fix and servicing. Was told once my bike is returned it will be due for service in a year or at 6500 miles, whichever is first.
