Cannot engage into first Gear

Just wondering has anyone had issues with trying to engage into1st Gear while pulling in the Clutch . Never had this happen before .

Yes since purchase there have been numerous occasions when stopped going from neutral to 1st gear doesn’t engage. Slight rocking of the bike forward or rearward and goes into gear no problem.

That's been true of several bikes I have owned that were not BMWs. I thought this was normal.

I thought his clutch wasn't being engaged, preventing him from engaging 1st gear smoothly....

It's totally normal to roll your bike either slightly forward or backwards to drop 1st gear in from a Neutral standstill....at least for EVERY bike I've owned... DUCATI has like 7 Neutrals...

I’m struggling more with getting it into neutral when stopped at a long light and such. Bit of rocking and clutch fiddling seems to do the trick.
