Brynhilda the Black - R18 Classic Deluxe First Edition (black with white pinstripe)
Wow what a bike, pure rolling art - I believe we are in an elite selection of society that always ride with a permanent smile! These are magnificent iron horses!

G,Day Lace.
I live in Perth and am considering buying a TC, they seem to be going at a very good price. From your post you seem very happy with the bike. Any draw backs? How do you find the fuel consumption. There are parts of WA were fuel is scarce and it can be a 300 k plus ride between servos and in some instances the servo is out of action. Any feed back appreciated.
My plan is to buy one in Melbourne and ride it back home.
Cheers

Hi AE, l have been looking for a while, the whole motor bike market has tanked here, so definitely a buyers market. There are some awesome deals to be had second with low kilometres too. Mate as to the fuel consumption it’s been pretty good, l am getting about 5.4 lites to 100klm however, l am throttling hard as stuck in honey moon period still, that said l don’t believe l will get out of it as it always brings a smile every time l saddle up.

As to fuel, I usually fuel up around the 200k to 250k mark so not much help to you, l will need to test it out and circle back. However there’s always a work around. I do know of a mate that always carries 5 litres in one of his saddle bags of his Enfield bullet as fuel gauge busted (former engine oil bottle) if you were worried given your circumstances of stations closed whilst not ideal until you work it out you could array 2 - have on in each pannier!

I think you will love the TC beautiful bike, a lot of good stories l hear about them, you won’t regret it. I still love the view of “Brynhilda’s” big jugs they are a sight to behold puts Dolly Parton to shame :) and the chrome too when riding.

Howdy from Goolwa....
Thanks Noelpolar
Congrats on your new bike and welcome to the forum. Two Aussies joining in one week. Not me, you and Envarko 😉
yeah the R in R18 in Australia translates to Roo-able - l am convinced it would bounce them! Hence it’s popularity here Lol

Uschi is beautiful…… love the saddle … l am about to take pillion seat off and looking to put a similar saddle but we have thinner ones over here that don’t look as comfortable, it really suits the bike!….. hmmmmm yes sometimes l just walk into rumpus room to look at it admiring its beauty whilst having a drink etc… lol
