2024 R18 Roctane
I find that the signals automatically turn off too soon (for my liking). I would like to go 'retro' and turn them off myself (Yes, I'll forget once in a while). Is it possible to cancel the auto shut off of the turn signals? My dealer says no. However, I had a Goldwing and my mechanic turned off the auto shut off.

I am not sure about the Roctane but in the Bagger you can switch the “Comfort Indicators” on and off. Check your owner’s manual. I have attached here a screenshot of mine. The feature switch itself of depending on leaning angle or time lapsed, whichever comes first. So if you are on a turn and as soon as the turn is completed you asume an upright position, the indicators will cancel themselves out after a couple of seconds. I have the feature switched on at all times and works great for me.

Have to look for that setting, I always have to cancel my signals

Not sure. As Anibal says, dig out your manual and failing that ask your dealer see what they say.

There is nothing in the Roctane manual about "Comfort Setting" My dealer said 'no can do'. Don't understand why so many differences in the R18 models. For example, My Roctane has a 16 litre gas tank as apposed to the 20 in other models. Where I live in Canada, it's almost mandatory to have a 20 litre tank.

You can customise the indicator cancel settings by using a GS911 device.

It is simply tailoring to the specific models which are meant to appeal to different thus overall more buyers.

Where I live in Canada, it's almost mandatory to have a 20 litre tank.

So.... opt for a model with a bigger tank.

My R18 (Pure in the US) has a practical capacity of some 10-11 l. and that is just as I like it over here and imo fitting for the bike.

If you take a step back, the FE and TC to name but two are tótally different bikes. If anything it is stunning that they perform their vastly different roles perfectly well with pretty much the same platform.
