Updated the stem mirrors

About a week or so ago I was on a little 180 mile ride with a buddy and we came across some pretty torn up roads. I hit one pothole and my dang mirror flew off! Everything was on tight, but the actual glass mirror popped right out of the frame. What an awful design, and for only $450 Thankfully those things came with the bike, and the only reason I hadn’t updated them is because I knew how much they cost. I love the teardrop look on this bike, but didn’t want to waste money on more Roland Sands crap, so I upgraded to a pair of the glassless polished aluminum mirrors from Motogadget. This required some new bolts and locking washers to install, but they look great. Super minimal, and no risk of glass popping out again. Also, only $100 each.

These are honestly truly innovative. Aside from the amazing and clean look, because of the solid construction and light weight of these they suffer from far less vibration issues. Less distortion at faster speeds due to the reduced vibrations. If you are looking to upgrade your mirrors they are a great choice. They also make them in other shapes and sizes, and for bar end or clamp mounting as well.

Innovative and solid construction yes. The lighter weight though is more susceptible to vibrations.

Did you get the 155mm or 180mm length? Those look great! I like the variety of shapes the have available as well.
