All in about 2500 took my time and sourced quality used parts and now essentially have 2 Awsome bikes.

Started my own little secret project on perforated/holy engine name plates.
It will either (a) turn out really well or (b) not 😳.
Impatient me wants it done in about 2 weeks. Realistic me (if he exists) knows it will take about a month.
Wish me luck 🤞🏽

Ok, going better than planned… back to a 2 week time frame 🤞🏽

I have ordered some black BMW tank and front engine guard badges (same as cylinder head covers).
Should be here within 5 days. As they are stuck on, it should also neaten up the appearance as there will be no screws visible 🤞🏽.

I want to get my OEM petrol cap powder coater gloss black. Do I remove the circlip (not sure on the spelling) first or the rubber seal? If it’s the seal, what’s the best way to do it without damaging it?

Taken from the instructions for the RSD cap it seems just the circlip and the top comes off.

Have you considered Gloss Black cylinder and front engine guards? They would fit into the theme of your bike. Even if you didn’t go down the RSD path (unless you are rich) and buy from Aliexpress and then get them powder coated gloss, as they are usually Satin Black. If not AE, I’m sure Amazon have the same thing, just more expensive.
It would look great on an already good looking machine.
