The R18 is both air cooled and oil cooled. The oil cooler is thermostatically controlled. The oil is kept at a very stable temperature so changing oil weight is not necessary for different OAT due to seasonal changes.

I bought a set of these and found some BMW roundels that fit over the R18 emblem and they look really good.

You should know that these are made out of plastic. I have read that a few people that bought them said that the fit was not too good. Yes they will fit on all models of R18 engines.

I did eventually get my windscreen though it was the wrong size. Tristan said he would send me another one and then I could not contact him by phone or email. No way to get a credit card re-imbursment as I did receive one.

Tristan told me the same thing last November. Still waiting though I have given up.
