I bought a set of these and found some BMW roundels that fit over the R18 emblem and they look really good. Most would go something like these (aluminium) if looking for cheaper rather then expensive Roland sands design (RSD) ones.... your covers look the same as standard R18 ones.

Thanks for pointing these out. They look nice. I pulled the trigger on the black ones with the simple R18 roundel. Should suit my Roctane. Most would go something like these (aluminium) if looking for cheaper rather then expensive Roland sands design (RSD) ones.... your covers look the same as standard R18 ones.

I went this route too - I got the sacrificial chrome version via ali baba and the 40 thieves. Worked out great - very solid aluminium, good clean paintwork, perfect fitting, and much cheaper the RSD. Did however then find a much reduced $ RSD version on fleabay. Also have a set of reduced $ RSD end caps on their way. Will then have to decide whether to bling in black, or not. Let me think ...Most would go something like these (aluminium) if looking for cheaper rather then expensive Roland sands design (RSD) ones.... your covers look the same as standard R18 ones.

is the emblem easily removable? or on the option without emblem, do the screw holes match a BMW emblem? Most would go something like these (aluminium) if looking for cheaper rather then expensive Roland sands design (RSD) ones.... your covers look the same as standard R18 ones.

They are the same as mine (you have an all black option). The emblem is just a sticker, which is why I put an aluminium emblem straight over the top.is the emblem easily removable? or on the option without emblem, do the screw holes match a BMW emblem?
Got a link for the appropriately sized aluminum emblem? They are the same as mine (you have an all black option). The emblem is just a sticker, which is why I put an aluminium emblem straight over the top.
Hey @HUNTS , how are you doing, buddy? They are the same as mine (you have an all black option). The emblem is just a sticker, which is why I put an aluminium emblem straight over the top.
Peel the plastic off the emblems and they will look a lot better.Hey @HUNTS , how are you doing, buddy?
I installed the aluminum protectors on the cylinders and the long one for the front of the engine. By the way, those protectors you recommended look amazing!
The only thing I didn't really like is the BMW emblems I bought. Instead of being flat aluminum like the ones you mentioned you put on yours, mine came with clear acrylic and have this 3D concave look that I'm just not feeling.
Do you happen to have the info handy on where you got yours? I think I'm gonna take these off and swap them for the flat aluminum ones like you have.
I just measured the circle diameter and went to Aliexpress with ‘…mm BMW emblem decal’ and found them. There are numerous choices, I just can’t remember the measurement.Got a link for the appropriately sized aluminum emblem?
By the plastic, do you mean that whole acrylic layer that covers the entire badge? It looks like it's fused onto it, not something you can just peel off. Did you actually take off that acrylic or resin layer that covers it and makes it concave?Peel the plastic off the emblems and they will look a lot better.
Hey @Lowflying, this is the vendor I used on eBay, and the size is 45 mm.Got a link for the appropriately sized aluminum emblem?
