I Have both of these chargers and I do prefer the BM simply due to the fact that I had to read the instructions to decipher the colour coded lights on the Optimate.... But both work Great.....

I just received my BM Charger and it did the same.....just started charging and no options provided.....buy I'm sure all is good as it is a "Smart Charger"

Agree ....Will leave my R18 FE standard (Just removed Pillion bits) but I can understand as I like to tinker with my Cars...

R18 Classic FE also has the same options included here in Australia....Plus screen/extra lights and different front wheel and soft bags by 2........... BUT I'm sure we pay more here for the First Edition....

Dont get those funnel webs here in Victoria...so didn't get that option...

The Floor Boards are FACTORY...here in Australia we have a R18 Deluxe FE that comes with the below Factory fitted options as STD.... Genuine Factory Fitted Options 0134 Adaptive headlight............... ..Included 017C Lockable fuel filler cap ..........Included 0202 Daytime riding light...
