    Front end vibration

Did you notice that the balancing weights are still intact? Do you have spoke rims that need to be adjusted? Usually a good tire shop can straighten that out.....Personally I wouldn't fool around with this. Your riding on what 8-10 square inches of tire surface at 70 plus mph. I always had...

    Hornig Crash Bars Lean Angle

Yeah....bad idea...I'll clean it by hand. Just getting lazy....and it's not even dirty, just dust from the garage....

    Hornig Crash Bars Lean Angle

Has anybody washed their bike, as in powerwashed??? Good idea or bad? I've never washed any of my bikes, always cleaned by hand, but thinking I might get my auto detail guy to carefully powerwash and dry my bike. Mostly the lower half, no need to wash the controls, seat, et...

    Hornig Crash Bars Lean Angle

I have a 2023 Anniversary model not much different than your bike. Bike has 575 miles on it. The other day I took a canyon run I used to take on my R9T and Harley all the time. The canyon consists of very tight turns going up and down. I was worried that no matter how careful I was I would...

    Dyna beads

I can't imagine there aren't custom wheel weights to match your rims. If you wanna go crazy, have a half dozen powder coated to match your rims, then have the guy use them when he balances them.

Tried them on my Harley, not a big fan. You might a shop with custom colored weights that can balance the wheels properly.

    Front lever brake adjustment?

My 2014 R9T would start in neutral without the clutch being in....which is why it never occurred to me. And the salesman at the dealership told me, "You have an R9T, this R18 operates the same way, didn't show me jack.... I was a in the car business 100 years ago, ran car dealerships. Even...

    Front lever brake adjustment?

Cool. If no one showed you, how are you supposed to know?? Let me tell you what stupid feels like... Bought the 23 Anniversary model. I paid to have it transported to my house, I had had hernia surgery and didn't want to ride 50 miles home on it. A couple of weeks later I'm ready to take ride...

    Front lever brake adjustment?

So...you adjusted it and it worked?

    Front lever brake adjustment?

Let me know.....On the Harley's there is another adjustment on the cable itself, kind of an old school threaded retainer you could tighten or let out that would also adjust the clutch, but I don't see that on the BMWs.

    Front lever brake adjustment?

Turn it all the way to one side and check the brake lever tension. If you turn it one way, it will shorten the amount of throw the lever takes to brake, the other way will make it so you have to depress the level all the way in to brake. Good luck....

    Front lever brake adjustment?

Yeah, that should be it. On my bike it looks like this:

    Front lever brake adjustment?

Don't you have a dime shaped "thing" on top of your brake lever numbered 1-5. That takes the slack out of the brake engage point.

It's been a good run... farewell all

I sold my mint low millage 2014 R9T to the dealer I bought my 2023 R18 anniversary model from. I had no intention of buying another bike but was so taken with the looks of the anniversary model I went for it. I also have had Harley's, nice ones. As a rule I prefer the smooth precision of the...

    .

Seems like the bike could go into a storage type escrow. Buyer pays, bike gets locked up on a trickle charger, title clears, pick up the bike. The bike is a steal....I would buy the damn thing if I didn't already have one....
